TITAN - Newsletter No. 3

DEAR READER,

Continuing our project implementation, we are proud to share with you more news on the key activities undertaken over the last few months and planned activities over the summer of 2022!

TRANSNATIONAL PROJECT MEETINGS

We did it!

Given the impact of the pandemic, the last few months have been busy with partner meetings – two online and one face-to-face. Yes, we did!

In fact, the 4th meeting was combined with the Learning and Training Activity, which took place in Nykøbing, Denmark, hosted by VUC in May 2022.

LEARNING AND TRAINING ACTIVITY

One of the most important activities of the project is the TITAN learning and training activity, which was conducted in Nykøbing, Denmark, hosted by VUC. It was designed to promote an in-depth understanding of the topic of sustainably responsible leadership and innovation by all partners trainers (who will conduct the pilots).

Each partner presented the Competence Unit for which it was responsible and then various micro-learning activities were presented and implemented by all the participants. The participants tested and enriched their knowledge of all CUs by working in groups, with learning tools developed by the partners, videos and much more.

The result was that all participants had an even better view of the connections between the different elements of the project and the specific learning and training materials that had been developed by the partners as part of the second the third intellectual outputs.

IO1: TITAN LEARNING CURRICULUM

The Competence Matrix is ready!

The TITAN curriculum has been developed according to the European Qualifications Frameworks (EQF) descriptors, having in mind the national specificities and contexts, for an EQF level 5.

It comprises six Competence Units; CU1: Sustainably Responsible Management, CU2: Business Culture for Sustainability and Innovation, CU3: Business Ethics in Leadership and Innovation, CU4: Businesses Environmental Sustainability, CU5: Businesses Responsible Innovation, CU6: The Holistic Approach through innovation. Each Competence Unit (CU) is a coherent combination of learning outcomes, which can be autonomously evaluated and validated.

You can find the TITAN Competence Matrix here.

IO2: TITAN E-LEARNING MATERIALS

The TITAN project is seeking to address a gap related to the development of learning materials and resources related to sustainability, responsible leadership and innovation which are contextualised within the lifeworld of the small business owner-manager. The materials have been developed to promote reflection and personal and business development, assisting managers and leaders of small businesses in putting ideas into action/practice.

The Flipbooks for the 6 Competence Units will be ready very soon and we are currently busy finalising the short videos that will present the Competence Units to the final users! Stay tuned for something awesome!

IO3: TITAN ASSESSMENT TOOLKIT

The Assessment Tools will help learners and SMEs in the identification of the training needs regarding Sustainably Responsible Leadership and Innovation.

The Toolkit is almost ready! We are now in the testing phase which will help us finalise it.
